About Evoshield, LLC

It started with a Cardiologist’s plan to make a protective torso device for youth athletes. One that provided maximum protection and comfort, enabling youth to compete in their chosen sport with confidence and ultimately enhances their participation and performance. From this point on, the evolution began.

Established in 2000, the initial team was comprised of a chemist, a cardiologist, and a group of former collegiate and professional athletes with a mutually unconventional idea; comfortable sports equipment. For the past 5 and a half years, this passionate team has been tirelessly designing a revolutionary material that will change the world of sports protection. Unlike today's primitive "one-size-fits-all" sports gear that is made of stiff plastics and bulky foams, Evoshield's body-conforming Shield technology raises the bar. Our high tech, lightweight material is a creative fusion of 5 layers of fiberglass resin, that reacts to oxygen. When formed and fully hardened, the evoshield takes the impact of a ball, hockey puck, gun recoil or other obstructive blows and disperses the energy through its 5 layers, lessening the probability of injury and maximizing performance.

Evoshield's 5 layer protection has been tested by the only accredited sports science lab in the country, the same facility that tests the leading sports companies in the world. Our results speak for themselves, making us the evolution of sports protection.
